Honeycomb ceramic:
The automobile uses honeycomb ceramic as carrier. owing to large specific surface area of the carrier, being able to be coated with the active catalytic components of precious metal enough, honeycomb ceramica are sutable for fabricating emission catalytic converter in diesel or gasoline vehicle to get through emissioin such as CO, NOx and hydrocarbon etc.
It is also apply to Nox-removing systems for purifying the flue gas of the boiler firing coal at power plant, to harmful smog cleaning systems in combusting mass rubbish abroad. By the same token, honeycomb ceramics as carrier are generally utilized in chemical and mining industry for purifying and so on.
