Stainless Steel Multibeam Support Plates

The mainl function is to bear the packed bed and prevent a backing up of liquid into the bed as a result of increased gas.

Support Plate/Grid/Tower internals :

it is composed of corrugated sheets perforated with slots/holes to separate gas and liquid flow paths maximising total throughput. The slots/holes are laid out in a uniform pattern where the open are approaches or exceeds the corss-section area of the tower. The slots/holes sizes are such that the packings do not fall through them. The angle of corrugation, height and width of each beam varies with design and material . It is avaiable in various metals , plastics and ceramics.

The mainly function of support plate  is to bear the packed bed. it also meet other requirements:

2. High degree of stability with low own weight

3. Availability in various types of material to suit different corrosion levels

4. Easy installation in the column

Multibeam support grids using profile beams, offer a free crosssection of 100 % in relation to the entire column cross-section. Downcoming liquid flows separately from the upflowing gas stream. thus preventing the risk of flooding, even at high hydraulic loadings. The height of the multibeam as well as the slot width are a function of the parameters of a specific application.
